Lego Marvel 5005256 Bricktober Pack Review

To tie in with the release of Avengers: Infinity War Lego released a limited edition pack of four minfigures exclusive to Toys R Us Bricktober event. With Toys R Us going into administration around the time of release the future of the set was undecided. In some countries where Toys R Us was still in business this set was much easier to get, but over here in the UK it was near enough impossible to get especially when considering the prices on the second hand market easily exceeding over £40 plus. The set includes War Machine, Tony Stark, Wong and Bucky. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Bricktober pack from a seller in Denmark so here is our review on set 5005256.

War Machine:

The lasted version of War Machine is based off his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War and is the best version of the minifigure we have gotten so far. The minifigure features excellent all round detail print with a highly detailed torso and leg print and even arm printing as well which is extremely rare features War Machines many weapons. The minifigure also features a brick built shoulder canon which is one of the best designs compared to the previous stud shooter design which looks overall big in contrast to the minifigure. The helmet can also open revealing two facial expressions with Rhodeys in helmet visual display shown printed onto the face.

Wong:

Our next minifigure is Wong, a close allie of Doctor Strange. This minifigure has all round excellent detailing with his robes covering his torso and leg print and do wrap round the side of the legs as well. Wong comes with a printed book accessory.

Tony Stark:

The next minifigure in the Bricktober pack is Tony Stark in his civilian outfit he wears during the first act of Avengers: Infinity War. This might look like a basic minifigure but is a highly detailed minifigure with a shiny metallic grey suit which shimmers in the light. The torso has some orange highlights going down the torso and a highly detailed arc reactor chest piece illuminating the overall suit. This is without a doubt the best version of Tony Stark we have gotten so far.

Bucky Barnes:

Bucky Barnes is the last of the four minifigures in the Bricktober pack and is based on his appearance form the climatic battle of Wakanda. Bucky features a highly detailed blue torso with a silver with gold stripped metallic arm and duel moulded green legs with added boots for detail. The minifigure also has side leg printing showing off a holder for his weapon. Bucky also comes with a alien conquest gun which is highly common in Lego Marvel Superhero sets.

Overall the Lego Marvel Bricktober pack is an excellent set and even though it is hard to get if you are a Marvel fan or Lego Marvel fan then this is a must have set for your Lego Marvel Superhero collection.
