Top 10 Jurassic Park / Jurassic World Sets

Our next top 10 list focuses on the Lego Jurassic Park / Jurassic World theme. This theme has produced not only some excellent builds but also some great Dinosaur moulds at all and till this day proves to be a highly popular theme among the Lego products.

10 - 75934 Dilophosaurus on the Loose - 168 pieces - £19.99

Starting of our top 10 Lego Jurassic World / Jurassic Park we have set 75934 Dilophosaurus on the Loose, whilst this set isn't the largest set on the list and doesn't include the largest Dinosaur mould, but for £19.99 you get a small Dilophosaurus which is the best version of the Dinosaur we have so far. The build itself includes a larger than life drone build which one of the minifigures can actually ride on, and a small shop kiosk which has an excellent Dinosaur mouth shaped kiosk shop front and some small accessories that the characters can buy. The set comes with three minifigures including Owen Grady, Hudson Harper and a park worker.

9 - 75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit - 397 pieces - £49.99

Set 75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit is not only the cheapest way to get the new and updated Blue Raptor mould but also includes a nicely scaled helicopter with a six stud shooter on the side of the helicopter, a small jeep style vehicle and a trap / holding pen to lure Blue into (though I can't quite see how the holding pen will actually keep the Raptor at bay). The set comes with three minfigures including Owen Grady, Ken Wheatley and an INGEN Guard.

8 - 75937 - Triceratops Rampage - 447 pieces - £54.99

This set was a surprise set to me when the set was officially announced. Not only do we get an excellent Triceratops mould, but we also get lots of different builds that really add value to the set including a spinning Dinosaur egg teacup ride detailed with lots of eggs, a fence that can collapse allowing the Triceratops to escape, a small arch way build, a simple yet effective sign post build and a small off roader. The set contains four minifigures including Owen Grady (with a different print to the first two sets in the top 10), Simon Masrani, Allison Miles and Jurassic World scientist.

7 - 75935 Baryonyx Face Off: The Treasure Hunt - 434 pieces - £59.99

Set 75935 Baryonyx Face Off: The Treasure Hunt certainly deserves a place on the list just for the Baryonyx itself, but if you look closely at the set you not only get a cool looking jeep build with an average trailer build but a small scenery build which adds some extra play value to the set itself. The set features four minifigures including Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Danny Nedermeyer and Sinjin Prescott and a small dog figure.

6 - 75933 T.rex Transport - 609 pieces - £59.99

At number 6 on the list we have set 75933 T.rex Transport. A set with a T.rex had to of course be on the list and whilst there have currently been three "minifigure" scale T.rex's in the Jurassic World / Jurassic Park theme but in my opinion this is the best one. Whilst the others feature other the top vehicles or even a T.rex mech this one features a much more realistic build in the form of a truck and container trailer to hold the T. rex in place during transport. This set also in my opinion has the best looking moulded T.rex to date. The set includes three minfigures including Zia Rodriguez and two INGEN security guards and also includes a small baby Raptor as well.

5 - 75929 Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape - 577 pieces - £59.99

Rounding out the top 5 we have set 75929 Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape. Whilst not the largest set in the theme but for £59.99 you are getting a brand new moulded Carnotaurus . A large truck built. A chunky 4x4 off roader build, a Ggyrosphere from the Jurassic World franchise and a forest build which has a neat function where you can press a button and lava (trans orange pieces) can erupt from the tree build. This set includes Owen Grady, Claire Dearing and Franklin Webb.

4 - 75930 Iindoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate - 1019 pieces - £119.99

Set number 75930 is one of the largest and most expensive sets in the entire Jurassic World / Jurassic Park theme and features the Lockwood Estate seen in the latest Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom film. The actual build is really unique in the Lego theme as we are used to holding pens and vehicles but this is the first actual building from the films. The building itself features a highly detailed three story exterior with a furnished interior featuring different rooms from the film. The set also features the first and only moulded Indoraptor, and also features Blue, Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Eli Mills, Gunnar Eversol, Ken Wheatley and Maisie Lockwood as well as a beautiful Triceratops skull build.

3 - 75919 Indominus Rex Breakout - 1156 pieces - £99.99

At number 3 on the list we have the highly impressive Indominus Rex Breakout, with 1156 pieces this is one of the largest sets in the theme and is one of the largest and highly detailed holding pens we have gotten from the theme, including an observation area, a helipad, a moving crane to feed the Indominus Rex and opening gates so the Indominus Rex can well as the title says breakout. The set features a highly detailed moulded Indominus Rex, a small helicopter and a gyrosphere and four minifigures including Zach, Dr Henry Wu , a vet and an ACU trooper.

2 - 75932 - Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase - 360 pieces - £44.99

At the number 2 spot on the list we have set 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase. This was a tough decision between this set being in the number 1 spot or the number 2 spot but only just misses out on the top spot. This set is overall fantastic and contains several small areas from the very first Jurassic Park moving including the computer room, a small lab with eggs and the kitchen area. This set features one Velociraptor in an orange colour and four minifigures including Dr Alan Grant, Lex, Timmy and Dr Ellie Sattler. This without a doubt is a must have set.

1 - 75936 Jurassic Park T.rex Rampage - 3120 pieces - £219.99

And at the number 1 spot we have of course got the largest Lego Jurassic Park / Jurassic World set ever produced for the theme. Set 75936 Jurassic Park T.rex Rampage contains 3120 pieces and it clearly shows. The set itself features a huge brick built T.rex with posable legs, arms and a mouth which can open and close as well as a moveable tail. The second build includes the famous Jurassic Park gate seen in the original Jurassic Park film. The build is great and uses a wide selection of plates and bricks to build up the detailing on the gate and if you turn that gate around you have lots of different rooms from the Jurassic Park visitor centre with some cool little Easter eggs hidden within. The set comes with six minfigures including Dr Alan Grant, Dennis Nedry, Dr Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, John Hammond and Ray Arnold.
