Lego Marvel Superheroes 76196 2021 Advent Calendar Rumours

We may have just had Christmas but there are rumours circulating around the Lego community of a new advent calendar for 2021.

Promobricks are currently reporting that there will be a Lego Marvel Superheroes advent calendar which will release in September 2021 which has the set number 76196 attached to it, and will be releasing alongside a Lego Star Wars, City and Friends advent calendar.

The advent calendar is rumoured to retail for $39.99 and contain a mixture of minifigures and mini scale builds and apparently an ugly sweater (Christmas jumper) style Iron Man minifigure which could look really nice.

If this rumour is true, what would you like to see in a Lego Marvel Superheroes advent calendar? let us know in the comments below.

Lego MCU Disney Plus Series Sets Rumour

A press release from Marvel titled "Marvel Must Haves" has reveal that there could potential be some new Lego Marvel Superhero sets based on the Disney + series. Thanks to the Lego Instagram community for sharing this.

Here is the press release below:

"Every Monday, starting January 18th, through the end of the year Marvel.com, will debut epic new product highlights via the Marvel Must Haves landing page, kicking off with Marvel Studios WandaVision. Premiering on January 15th on Disney+."

the press release then goes on to state:

"Weekly reveals will be on a rolling cadence throughout the year and include product offerings around new characters and cliffhangers. Marvel Must Haves will include some of the world's biggest brands including Hasbro, Lego, Funko, Her Universe, Lougefly and others. A wide array of merchandise will also be available from shopDisney.com, select Disney Parks, Amazon, Hot Topic, Ulta, Walmat and Target, teeing up to the additional series launches including Marvel Studios "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", Marvel Studios "Loki", Marvel Studios "What If...?", Marvel Studios "Ms Marvel" and Marvel Studios "Hawkeye"

Now this is exciting news meaning that we could be getting new sets based on the MCU Disney+ series. Personally I don't think we will be getting sets for all of the series for example WandaVision but potentially one or two based on some of the other series.

The reveals will be spread out across the year on Mondays.

What series would you like to get sets from? let us know in the comments below.

Lego Jurassic World 2021 / 2022 Rumoured Price / Piece Count List

Thanks to the Promobricks we now have a rumoured price / piece count list for the Lego Jurassic World summer 2021 and 2022 sets. Of course it is a bit early to get news on 2022 sets, but since Jurassic World: Dominion would have been released this year but is delayed until next year it is safe to say that the sets based on the films scheduled for this year will also be pushed back.

Here is the rumoured list of sets:

Summer 2021:

- 76939 - 4+ - 129 pieces

- 76940 - 198 pieces

- 76941 - 240 pieces

- 76942 - 308 pieces

Jurassic World: Dominion (2022):

- 10938 - Duplo - 19.99 Euros

- 10939 Duplo - 29.99 Euros

- 76944 - 49.99 Euros

- 76945 - 19.99 Euros

- 76946 - 29.99 Euros

- 76947 - 39.99 Euros

- 76948 - 49.99 Euros

- 76949 - 119.99 Euros

Personally the Jurassic World: Dominion sets could be really interesting especially as original cast members from the original Jurassic Park film are playing major roles in the film so we can expect to get some updates minifigures based on the classic characters.

What are you hoping to get from the Lego Jurassic World 2021 / 2020 sets? let us know in the comments below.

Lego Marvel Superheroes CMF Wave Rumour

There is currently a rumour circulating in the Lego Instagram community that one of the CMF waves for 2021 will be based on Marvel Superheroes and will be set number 71031.

The CMF wave will be rumoured to be releasing in either August or September of 2021.

Personally I am really hoping this rumour comes true as I am a huge fan of the MCU and Marvel in general and have been trying to collect every character Lego has produced in minifigure form so this news is especially exciting.

There is no current word on the price but I assume it will be similar to the recent Lego Harry Potter CMF minifigures and no update on how many minifigures will be in the wave but at a minimum it will be 12.

I assume there will be an Iron Man / Tony Stark varient and a new Spider-Man minifigure but I would love some new characters that have not been released in Lego form such as Daredevil.

What characters would you like to see Lego use in the CMF series? let us know in the comments below.

Brick Built Blogs 2020 Yearly Review

What a year 2020 was! with all the lockdowns and extra time on our hands we started this blog to engage with other Lego fans all around the world and to keep you up to date with all the latest rumours and news surrounding the world of Lego.

This post will take a look at what we have managed to achieve over the year since starting the page in March 2020.

These statistics were taken on the 05/01/21 from the blog.

Blog views:

As of the 05/01/21 we have had over 95,800 views on the blog heading towards the big target of 100,000 views. Since starting the blog there was a increase in views mainly down the the rumours and images of the summer 2020 set images and which also peaked again during October / November with official images of the winter sets. We did see a drop over August / September and the start of October but due to starting a new job I wasn't able to post as much as I would of liked.

Overall a great first year (even though the end of our first year will be March 2021) and I look forward to reviewing the figures for this year and to compare how well we are doing.

UPDATE: as of the 11th January we hit our target of 100,000 views. Thank you so much!

Popular Posts:

Here we have the top 8 posts of 2020, with our most popular post being a full list of Lego sets retiring at the end of 2020 which received a massive 16,800 views, followed by the official images of the Lego Creator Expert Police Station with just over 4,000 views and thirdly the official images of the Lego Star Wars 2021 winter sets with just over 2,700 views.

It will be interesting to see what will come of 2021 and what posts will stand out over the year.

Global Views:

One of the interesting aspects of the blog statistics is finding out where in the world the blog is being viewed. Being based in the UK the blog has been most viewed here with over 36,900 views closely followed by the United States with over 35,500 views.

But it is great to see that we are getting views from all over the world, including Australia, Taiwan, Germany, the Philippines and Ireland.

The map below shows the statistic in a world map view which is also interesting to view.

Social Media:

To distribute out articles we are on a couple of social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.

Our Facebook page has now got as of 12/01/21 292 likes and 353followers which is a great achievement for our first year.

And our Instagram account has 87 follows which is a good start for the year.

Overview:

We just wanted to thank everyone over the last year who has viewed our content and joined in the conversation surrounding Lego rumours and releases and it has been great to be a part of the community. We are so close to hitting our goal of 100,000 page views and it will be interesting to see if we can get to 200,000 views by the end of December 2021, but that would not be possible without you guys reading the blog which we are extremely grateful.

If you have any feedback on the blog or what you would like to see more of then please let us know.

Thank you!!
