Lego Super Mario More Information Revelead

In a recent interview between Lego Youtuber Just 2 Good and the lead designer for the Lego  Super Mario theme, new information was revealed in regards to the theme leaving fans excited of the possibilities this theme can bring to the Lego brand moving forward.

As there was a lot of information covered I will list all the new information provided in the interview below:

- You can use your own bricks from home and Mario can interact with certain colours for example red, green, yellow and blue bricks.

- If Mario falls off the course you can't interact with the interactive figure for 3 seconds.

- Mushrooms can act as shields for Mario.

- Action bricks (for example the one on top of the gumba) are the first Lego pre applied stickers to pieces that are not printed (I am sure this will excite fans moving foward).

- Mario's hat can be removed from the figure.

- Mario uses triple A batteries.

- App is needed to update Mario for future expansion sets.

- App is used to show people how to interact with Mario as people would skip over how to play if they put the instructions on paper like traditional instructions.

- The designers found 5 second videos were the best way to show the instructions.

- All instructions to the sets will be digital to make sure people know how to use the game.

- People can submit photos of their level to the app.

- There will be new weekly challenges set via the app.

Overall this seems to be an exciting and potential game changing new theme to the Lego brand and if this succeeds with Lego fans I am sure the technology will be used more and more in other Lego themes.
