Lego Star Wars 40176 Scariff Shoretrooper Polybag Review

The Scariff Shoretrooper is the second Lego Star Wars minifigure to be added to the collectable minifigure wave of sets from Lego. The set features a highly detailed Scariff Shoretrooper (technically a squad leader) and a display stand and contains 25 pieces. This minifigure is based of Imperial Shoretrooper from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Scariff Shoretrooper:

Overall the Scariff Shoretrooper is an appealing minifigure as a whole and definitely stand sour with the Stormtrooper ranks of the Empire. The minifigure features a armoured tan torso and leg print, grey arms and an excellent moulded tan helmet matching there own screen appearance perfectly. Whilst this minifigure might look practically the same as previous Shoretroopers released by Lego but overall as a brand new print design all over. The additional grey arm printing and cloth piece indicate that this is a Shoretrooper squad leader.

Display Stand:

The display stand itself is a rather simple but effective build. The actual display stand uses a couple of bricks to build the frame of the stand and then uses a modified 1x2 with stud on side brick to allow you to place the name plate onto the stand. Each polybag comes with its on background art and the background art for this set is of the battle ground that is the beaches of Scariff. The background is held together using Technic pins which just slot into the back of the stand. You can also connect the other polybag display stands together using Technic pins which slot into the side of the display stand.

Overall this is a great little polybag with an exclusive variant of the Imperial Shoretrooper and overall a highly recommend set for any Lego Star Wars fan.
