Lego Star Wars 40300 Han Solo Mud Trooper Polybag Review

Set 40300 Han Solo Mud trooper is probably one of the better minifigure polybags that Lego has released in the collectable minfigure polybags with the display stand and is the first out of two minfigure polybags to be released in connection with Solo: A Star Wars Story, the other being the Kessel Mine Worker.

This minifigure of Han Solo is based of his appearance from Solo: A Star Wars Story and is based on the scene that shows Han Solo in the battle of Mimban as a Mud Trooper. From the Solo: A Star Wars Story sets we get two Han Solo variants in the Mud Trooper form but this minfigure is the variant that is actually covered in mud, and this minfigure has mud dripping from his armour, which is all over and makes the minifigure stand out from the rest of the minifigures in the Lego Star Wars line. The minfigure also has a tan hair piece that resembles mud dripping from his hair which is a fantastic addition.

Display Stand:

The display stand itself is a rather simple but effective build. The actual display stand uses a couple of bricks to build the frame of the stand and then uses a modified 1x2 with stud on side brick to allow you to place the name plate onto the stand. Each polybag comes with its on background art and the background art for this set is the battle of Mimban. The background is held together using Technic pins which just slot into the back of the stand. You can also connect the other polybag display stands together using Technic pins which slot into the side of the display stand.

Overall Han Solo Mud Trooper is a fantastic minfigure and is one of the best varients of Han Solo we have gotten so far. Out of the five minfigures in the polybag wave this is without a doubt the best minfigure in the entire wave of polybag sets.
