Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: Day 1

Yes, it is that time of the year where we can start opening our Lego calendars and after last year taking a look at the Lego Marvel Superheroes advent calendar, this year we are taking a look at the Lego Star Wars advent calendar and will be reviewing each day with the build up to Christmas.

The Lego Star Wars advent calendar consists of 329 pieces and retails for £29.99 here in the UK.

Now let's take a look at Day 1.

Day 1:

Day 1 consists of a micro scale Republic Gunship which looks great in micro scale form and perfectly captures the look and overall feel of a Republic Gunship capturing the angles really well.

There are a couple of gaps throughout the build itself which stops pieces sitting flush on top of each other but at this scale it would be difficult to create a model that looks exactly like the Gunship itself with perfectly flush pieces.

Overall, a great looking micro scale build for Day 1 and a great start to the Lego Star Wars advent calendar.

Lego Marvel Superheroes SDCC 77905 Taskmaster's Ambush Review

Set Name: Taskmaster's Ambush Set Number: 77905 Pieces: 230 Price: $39.99 (Limited release) Minifigures: 3 - Black Widow, Red Guardian, Taskmaster Just like the SDCC Nebulon B Frigate, SDCC Wonder Woman set and Star Wars Celebration Bespin Duel, Lego released a SDCC set for Lego Marvel Superheroes for limited release for the US due to the cancellation of SDCC in 2020 due to the pandemic. The overall set contains 2 exclusive minifigures including Black Widow and Red Guardian, a small off road jeep style build and a nice display terrain build.
