More Lego Star Wars Mandalorian Sets on the way?

Thanks to the Lego Instagram community and an interview Between Brickset and two Lego Star Wars set designers we may have potential confirmation of more Lego Star Wars The Mandalorian sets coming our way and why there is any Lego Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order sets.

In an interview with Brickset and Lego designers Jens and Michael, Jens seems to suggest that there is more Lego Star Wars The Mandalorian sets on the way.

This is a quote taking from the interview on Brickset:

"Brickset: Some people were surprised that 75292 The Razor Crest does not include Kuiil or the Mandalorian in his beskar armour. Is there any particular reason for that?

Jens: Well, there might be other sets from The Mandalorian to come! We realise that fans are eager to add characters from the series to their collection but cannont necessarily release them all at once."

This quote seems to confirm that we are getting more Mandalorian sets on the way (and hopefully soon) with the potential of including more characters from the series including the beskar Mandolorian armour, Kuiil and fingers crossed for Moff Giddeon. As Season 2 approaches and how well received the first season was it all but seems confirmed that more sets are on the way.

Jedi: Fallen Order:

The interview also went on to discussing why we haven't see any Lego Star Wars: Fallen Jedi Order sets.

This quote is also taken from the same interview on Brickset:

"Brickset: Jedi: Fallen Order was released alongside The Mandalorian and has proven extremely popular. Was consideration given to producing sets from Jedi: Fallen Order?

Michael: That was certainly on the table and we did discuss it. However, video games present different challengers to the movies and television shows because their age ratings can affect the products we release.

Jens: Anticipating what might become popular is another challenge. We always try to decide what will appeal to as many people as possible, of course, but it can be difficult. The age rating was probably the most important factor though. After all, we are primarily making toys for children"

Jens does go on to say this:

"Jens: Those characters might appear outside the game in the future and you never know what could happen in that event."

Essentially what both Lego designers are saying that the unpredictability of video games makes it harder to make sets on in terms of a video games potential violent nature which it doesn't seem that Lego was comfortable working with, but the promising thing is that if the characters cross over to over media or events sets could be on the cards if that was to happen.

If we do get any more Lego Star Wars: The Mandalorian sets will you be getting them? and what would you like to see made into Lego? let us know in the comments below.
