Top 10 Lego Marvel Superheroes Sets

The Lego Marvel Superheroes theme is without a doubt up there with some of the most popular themes that Lego is currently producing and is one of my personal favourites especially in terms of the minifigures that the theme produces.

So after careful consideration here is our top 10 Lego Marvel Superheroes sets:

10: 76051 Superhero Airport Battle - 807 pieces - £74.99

The set itself includes a nice compact Quinjet build and surrounding airport structure, but the standout of the set is the minifigures which include Iron Man, Captain America, Winter Soldier, Scarlett Witch, War Machine, Agent 13, but also includes a micro Ant-Man figure and a brick built Giant Man which is the standout piece of the set.



9. 76128 Molton Man Battle - 294 pieces - £24.99

76128 Molton Man Battle might not be the largest Marvel set but overall is an excellent set with great figures including an exclusive Stealth Spider-Man suit, Mysterio and a random firefighter. The build itself is exceptional and includes lots of trans orange pieces with car, traffic lights and other metal pieces sticking out of his body. 

8. 76107 Thanos Ultimate Battle - 674 Pieces - £69.99 + 76102 Thors Weapon Quest - 223 pieces - £19.99

How could I not pick these two sets, both sets were meant to be put together and a clever Lego sales tactic forces you to but both sets to make the complete vehicle seen in Avengers: Infinity War. The combined sets feature six minifigures including Iron Man, Star Lord, Gamora, Thor, Rocket and Groot and features a Thanos bigfig and includes our first version of the Infinity Gauntlet with two Infinity Stones.

7. 76021 - The Milano Spaceship Rescue - 665 pieces - £69.99

The Milano Spaceship Rescue is the first version of the Guardians ship and is honestly the best version of the vehicle with full interior and posable dorsal fins. The set includes some great minifigures including Star Lord, Drax, Gamora, Ronan and a Sakaran solider. If you ever wanted The Milano then this is the set for you.


6. 76105 - The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition - 1363 pieces - £119.99

This D2C Hulkbuster set is a great iteration of the Iron Man suit used to fight the Hulk, having the set at this scale allows for a lot more detailing and it clearly shows with a stunning model, the set also includes a exclusive Iron Man figure for all you Iron Man collectors out there and a great display stand. This set would of been higher on the list but the lack of knee joints limits the sets overall posability.


5. 76038 - Attack on Avengers Tower - 511 pieces - £59.99

This is our first iteration of the famous Avengers Tower seen in the MCU (there is a rumour that we will be getting a new version of the tower in the summer wave of Marvel sets). The set itself includes three floors and a hinged design allowing the tower to fully open and allow for play. The trans blue pieces are a great feature and really capture the building. The set contains five minifiigures including Iron Man, Thor, Ultron MK 1 and two Iron Drones.


4 - 6869 - Quinjet Aerial Battle - 735 pieces - £69.99

6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle is the first version of the Quinjet seen in the first Avengers film, the set features one of the largest versions of the vehicle with opening cockpits and full accessible interior space. The set features Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Loki and a Chitauri warrior and a small drone build.



3. 76108 - Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown - 1004 pieces - £89.99

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown is not just a great playset but a stunning display piece as well. The set feature two buildings joint by hinge pieces including Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum and a Peter Parkers New York apartment above a pizza store. The detailing of the set is stunning and includes some great brick detailing. The set also contains four fantastic minifigures including Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Iron Spider, Ebony Maw and one big fig Cull Obsidian. The set is without a doubt the best set out of the Avengers: Infinity War wave of sets.


2. 76042 -  The Shield Helicarrier - 2996 pieces - £279.99 

The Shield Helicarrier is without a doubt one of the best Marvel sets produced by Lego, being the largest set produced for the Marvel line, it includes five minifigures including Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury and Maria Hill, and a wide range of micro figures and vehicles that are scaled to the large helicarrier. The detailing on this set is great and it is even more impressive when you add power functions to make the turbo engines spin on there own. 


1. 76057 - Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle - 1092 pieces - £99.99 

Number one of the list is of course the Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle set which includes half of a New York bridge which is stunning with great detailing and building techniques and a ton of minifigures including Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Scarlett Spider, Green Goblin, Scorpion, Kravan the Hunter and Aunt May. The set is a great building experience and a standout piece in anyone's collection.
