Day 1 of the Lego Marvel advent calendar got off to a great start with the Christmas jumper Iron Man variant but lets see what day 2 has in store for us.
Day 2:
Day 2 consists of a pack of the Lego power burst pieces for the Lego Iron Man minifigure to use.
The pieces themselves add to the overall play and display options for your minifigures and go great with your Lego Iron Man minifigure from day 1 but here it feels like a wasted opportunity and certainly a wasted advent calendar day slot in our opinion.
If the power burst pieces came in day 1 with the Christmas jumper Iron Man minifigure then that would make sense but here it just feels like a bit of a wasted opportunity, especially considering that these pieces in this colour are common if you have been collecting the Lego Marvel Superhero sets.
Lets hope that day 3 is a return to form.
