The set itself was meant to be released as an exclusive set from Star Wars Celebration but due to the cancellation of the event due to the global pandemic Lego decided to release this set as an exclusive set in the US and Canada retailing at $39.99. Even though the set has a relative fair price in the US and Canada the second hand market has sky rocketed as Lego fans from all over the world try to get the hands on the set with prices now in the range of £120 + and rising.
