Set Name:  Captain America Mech Armour

Minifigures: Captain America

The Lego mech armours return for 2021 with the release of three new Marvel mechs in the form of Captain America, Thor and Miles Morales. Today we are taking a look at the Lego Captain America Mech Armour.

Minifigures:

The set comes with a brand new Captain America minifigure which takes elements from his suit from Avengers: Endgame with chain mail printing at the top of the suit which look fantastic as well as the rest of the torso which is highly detailed. The minifigure does come with the printed helmet piece which is a step up from the printed helmet face prints that we used to get. The minifigure does come with his famous shield.

Mech Armour:

The mech armour itself is a nice build and includes a lot or articulation points allowing you to pose the mech in lots of different ways with the legs and arms having full articulation. The front cockpit area can also be opened allowing you to place the minifigure into the mech armour.

Personally I really like the colour scheme with the mainly dark blue and red colours covering the mech with the additional white thrown in there, obviously matching the colours of Captain America and works really well with the overall mech design.

The Mech also comes with a printed piece with a Captain America logo on which looks great, but the most impressive piece is the giant shield piece when can be fitted to the hand of the mech, and can also be fitted to the back of the mech as well for storage which is also great and a nice new printed piece as well which is always handy to have.

Verdict:

Overall this mech actually really surprised me, it had a good overall build with lots of points of articulation and of course the use of that printed shield piece, also having the exclusive Captain America minifigure slightly based of the Avengers: Endgame suit is great to have at such a low price point.
