Today we are taking a look at the Lego Marvel 71031 CMF series. The series itself is based on the Disney + MCU shows including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki and What If..?
The minifigures themselves retail for £3.49 / 3.99 Euros / $4.99 and are currently available to purchase at Lego Shop@Home.

Captain America (Sam Wilson)
One of the main highlights of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was seeing Sam Wilson take on the mantle of Captain America and the reveal of his comic accurate Captain America suit and this figure is certainly one of the highlights of this entire CMF series.
The minifigure features a highly detailed torso and leg pint design with side arm and leg printing. A new moulded wing piece display the colours of Captain America and a printed Redwing piece that connects to the back of the new wing piece. Captain America (Sam Wilson) of course comes with the trusty shield piece making for a all round perfect Captain America (Sam Wilson) minifigure, without a doubt one of my favorites from the series.
Bucky Barnes:
Next up we have Bucky Barnes (The Winter Solider). The minifigure features an array of excellent printing all over the minifigure and I particularly like the hair piece used to capture his appearance as seen in The Falcon and the Winter Solider. Whilst not the most interesting minifigure from the series overall compared to the likes of Captain America (Sam Wilson) it surely stands its own ground in terms of level of detail and printed. Bucky comes with a dagger and Captain America's shield.
Scarlet Witch:
Moving on over to WandaVision we have Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch in her series finale outfit. Overall the figure is great with excellent printing a detailing all over. This is without a doubt the best version of the character we have gotten in Lego form. My only slight criticism with the minifigure is with the Wanda's headgear with is printed onto the hair piece itself. Personally I would of preferred the headgear to have been a moulded piece similar to the one we get with Sylvie (which we will take a look at later on in the review). Scarlet Witch comes with two red power blast pieces.
The Vision:
The WandaVision TV series introduced the MCU to the White Vision which in the series was created using the remains of the original Vision by S.W.O.R.D. Whilst the on screen Vision is mostly white, the Lego version incorporates grey's and golds into the colour scheme which in my opinion creates a really nice contract overall. The minifigure also has great printing and comes with a small laptop style accessory. It is also worth mentioning that the replacement mind stone area on this minifigure is a yellow colour instead of the on screen accurate blue.
Monica Rambeau:
The final minifigure from the WandaVision TV series is Monica Rambeau. This minifigure might not be the most exciting out of the entire series of minifigure but still does feature a detailed design. I particularly love the new hair piece which suits the character perfectly.
Personally I would have loved an alternate expression showing Monica using her powers as seen in the later half of the series but with the Captain Marvel sequel "The Marvels" now currently in production it is a safe bet that we will see another version of the character in Lego form in the not so distant future. Monica comes with a red helicopter drone accessory.
Loki:
Moving onto the Loki Disney + TV series we have the main character himself Loki which perfectly captures his on screen appearance in the series wearing a printed variant jacket which looks great on the minifigure. I also particularly like the old Luke Skywalker's hair piece in black which matches Loki's on screen appearances.
Loki comes with two accessories, the first being a printed TVA cup and the second being Throg who for its size has a printed helmet, cape and is holding a mini Mjolnir.
Sylvie:
The second minifigure from the Loki series is Sylvie. Personally for me Sylvie was a great addition to the Disney + series and it is great to see Sylvie in Lego form. The minifigure features a detailed torso design but lacks any leg printing which is a shame but still manages to capture the look of the character on screen. I particularly like the duel moulded hair piece with Sylvie broken horn headpiece which is a great addition to the minifigure.
Just like Loki Sylvie comes with two accessories' including a green blade and the Alligator Loki variant which is fantastic although missing his crown, but I can see Lego re using this piece for future Lego City sets.
Captain Carter:
Moving on to the What If..? series which is currently airing on Disney + we have Captain Carter. This is the second version of the character to appear in minifigure form, the first appearing in the Captain Carter and the Hydra Stomper set that was released in August 2021. This version of the character is far more accurate to the characters on screen appearance with a great hair piece and excellent printing all round. I particularly like the Union Jack in the middle of the shield piece closely matching its on screen appearance.
Captain Carter also comes with two accessories including her shield and a small Tesseract build.
Zombie Captain America:
Following on from Captain Carter we have Zombie Captain America from the Disney + What If..? series. Personally I love the look of the torn up print used throughout the overall design of the character and like the overall colour used for the flesh on show being a light blue colour compared to the usual grey looking zombie characters that we have previously gotten before and this also closely matches the on screen appearance of the character.
Zombie Captain America comes with a scratched up shield piece as an accessory.
Zombie Hunter Spider-Man:
Following on from the zombie theme we have Zombie Hunter Spider-Man. This without a doubt is one of the most detailed printed Spider-Man minifigures to date including web shooter design on the arms of the minifigure and even side leg printing. The minifigure also wearing the cloak of levitation more commonly seen worn by Dr Strange. This without a doubt is one of the highlights of the series.
The minifigure comes with a Peter Parker face and hair piece allowing you to switch between masked and unmasked and a web piece as well.
Gamora with the Blade of Thanos:
The second to last minifigure of the series is Gamora with the Blade of Thanos. The minifigure itself uses the previous Gamora head and hair piece but features the character wearing the golden armour of Thanos which looks good and is highly detailed. Whilst not my overall favourite from the series as a whole it still is a highly detailed minifigure in its own right.
Gamora also comes with a brick built minifigure scale blade which is more commonly seen in Avengers: Endgame which completes the overall Thanos look of the character.
T'Challa Star Lord:
The final minifigure of the series is from the second episode of the Disney + What If..? series in which T'Challa becomes Star Lord. The minifigure itself is highly detailed with a great torso and leg print design, even adding the rocket boots printed onto the side of the characters legs. T'Challa Star Lord also comes with a new moulded Star Lord helmet piece with a change of colour and a new moulded hair piece moulded into the helmet to match the on screen character.
The minifigure also comes with an additional hair piece for when you want to remove the helmet and two twin blasters which are commonly associated with the character of Star Lord.
Verdict:
Overall as a Marvel fan and collector of Lego Marvel characters this CMF series is fantastic containing an array of different characters from the Disney + series with highly detailed prints and accessories. If you are a Marvel fan then you need to get your hands on these minifigures as they don't disappoint. I really hope we get a second CMF series of Marvel characters if not based on the Disney + shows then a series dedicated to comic book versions of the much beloved characters.
