Lego Speed Champions March 2023 Sets Official Images

Thanks to Brickset we now have official images of four brand new Lego Speed Champions sets.

All four sets will be releasing on the 1st March 2023.

Here are the four sets:

- Lego 76914 Ferrari 812 Competizione - 261 pieces - £19.99 / $24.99

- Lego 76915 Pagani Utopia - 249 Pieces - £19.99 / $24.99

- Lego 76916 Porsche 963 -  280 Pieces - £19.99 / $24.99

- Lego 76918 McLaren Solus GT & McLaren F1 LM -  581 Pieces TBC - £39.99 / $44.99

Lego 40585 World of Wonders 2023 GWP First Look Images

Thanks to Promobricks and Wooden Duck we now have first look images of the Lego Architecture 40585 World of Wonders GWP set.

It is currently unknown when the GWP will be available with purchases but Promobricks is reporting that it could be releasing in February / March 2023.

The price threshold is also not known at this current time but Promobrikcs suggests due to the size of the set it could be similar price threshold to the 40463 Tribute to the Lego House and 40583 Houses of the World 1 which was 250 Euros.

Lego Marvel 71039 Series 2 2023 Rumours

According to Brick Clicker on YouTube we now have some rumoured information regarding the release of a licensed CMF series for 2023.

Brick Clicker is reporting that we will be getting a Lego Marvel CMF series 2 in 2023.

The CMF series is rumoured to be releasing on the 1st September 2023 and will retail for $4.99 / 4.99 Euros / £ TBC.

Brick Clicker is also reporting that this will be first CMF series to come in boxes and should be smaller then the Super Mario character boxes.

It is currently unknown what minifigures will be appearing in the second CMF series or if it will be based on the Marvel Disney + series.

Obviously this must be taken as rumours until officially confirmed by The Lego Group themselves. As soon as we have more information we will update the post.

Lego 40583 Houses of the World 1 GWP First Look Images

Thanks to a Brickset review we now have first look images of the Lego 40583 Houses of the World 1 GWP (Gift With Purchase).

The GWP is rumoured to be available from the 15th - 25th January 2023 and will be available with purchases of $250 / 250 Euros / £TBC, but this is yet to be confirmed by The Lego Group themselves.

Lego Art 31208 Hokusai: The Great Wave Official Images

Thanks to Brickfinder we now have official images of the Lego Art 31208 Hokusai: The Great Wave.

The set itself consists of 1810 pieces and will retail for $99.99 / 99.99 Euros / £89.99.

The set will be releasing on the 1st January 2022.

More Lego Sonic the Hedgehog Sets Rumoured for 2023

According to Promobricks we can expect an entire wave of Lego sets based on Sonic the Hedgehog in 2023, this comes of the back of the Lego Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog set.

Not much is known about the contents of the sets but the set numbers and prices can be found below.

- 76990 - 292 pieces - $29.99 

- 76991 - 367 pieces - $39.99

- 76992 - 388 pieces - $49.99

- 76993 - 615 pieces - $59.99

- 76994 - 802 pieces - $99.99

Brick Clicker reports that these sets will be releasing on the 1st August 2023.

Of course this must be taken as rumours until officially confirmed by The Lego Group themselves.

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: Day 24

Day 23 consisted of a Santa Gonk droid, let’s see what the last day of the advent calendar has in store for us.

Day 24:

Day 24 consists of a festive themed R2-D2 minifigure in a Christmas jumper. 

The legs and head piece remain the same as previous R2 minifigures but the R2-D2 torso is what is most impressive here.

The jumper itself features C3PO to match the earlier entry into Lego Star Wars advent calendar with C3PO having R2 on the jumper and the red colour scheme works really well.

Overall a great looking minifigure and a perfect way to end of the Lego Star Wars advent calendar.

The Lego Star Wars advent calendar for 2022 has been great with only a couple of slightly disappointing entries. The micro builds have truly been great with a good selection of minifigure with some truly great festive prints.

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: Day 23

With only two advent calendar doors left let’s take a look at what day 23 has in store.

Day 23:

Day 23 consists of a Santa themed Gonk droid. 

The build manages to capture the look of the Gonk droid that we have previously gotten in multiple sets before but instead in a red colour scheme for Santa.

The Gonk droid also continues the Santa theme with a white beard and a Santa hat which looks really nice.

Overall a great looking festive themed build.

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: Day 22

Day 22 consisted of a Hoth based Luke Skywalker minifigure, lets see what day 22 has in store for us. 

Day 22:

Day 22 consists of a piece of Hoth scenery, but not just as piece a scenery a part of the Wampa cave seen in Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back. 

The build itself features a brick built section of the Wampa cave with icicles at the top and a bone attached to the floor and whilst the build itself is not the most exciting build but it does combine with day 21 Luke Skywalker minifigure to form a nice display piece.

Luke can be attached to the studs attached to the upside down teeth pieces (here used to represent icicles) to represent Luke being trapped in the Wampa cave which is a great little idea. 

Overall whilst the build is nothing special, once combined with day 21 it does make for a nice display piece.

Lego 40580 Blacktron Cruiser GWP first look images

Thanks to Promobricks and YouTuber Brique Logique with now have first look images of the Lego 40580 Blacktron Cruiser GWP (Gift with Purchase).

The set itself was found in a French Lego store by Brique Logique who posted the original images.

The GWP consists of 356 pieces and according to Promobricks is rumoured to be available with purchases of 150 Euros / $150 / £TBC or more but this is yet to be officially confirmed.

The GWP is rumoured to be releasing on the 1st January 2022.

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: Day 21

With the last couple of days being Hoth based lets see if that trend continues or will we get something completely different. 

Day 21:

Day 21 consists of a Luke Skywalker minifigure in his Hoth outfit. This is only the second appearance of the minifigure that original appeared in the Lego Star Wars AT-AT vs Tauntaun microfighter set. 

Whilst the minifigure itself does not appear to be new it is still a highly detailed minifigure which looks great and its appearance in the advent calendar is fitting due to the recent Hoth theme of the last couple of days and is a another opportunity to get the minifigure if you did not manage to pick up the AT-AT vs Tauntaun microfighter set.

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: Day 20

Day 19 consisted of a really nice looking Hoth AT-ST build. There seems to be a running trend of Hoth based builds recently so lets see if that trend continues.

Day 20:

Day 20 consists of a Hoth shield turret which is a nice scaled down version of the turret seen in multiple Lego Star Wars Hoth based sets that we have received over the years. 

Whilst not to scale with yesterdays Hoth AT-ST it is still a nice companion piece that manages to capture the weapon really well considering its scale. 

Overall a nice looking micro scale build to add to the Hoth theme of the last couple of day.
